To talk. To feel safe. To be heard. To be you.
I believe you, the client, are the expert of your own life. However sometimes having a professionally trained person listen to you and reflect back on what you are saying in a non-judgmental way, can be helpful when experiencing life’s challenges and difficulties.
There is no magic wand, but like a seed planted in good soil, the chances of healthy growth are maximised when the right ingredients are present. Talking to a professional counsellor, who is not a friend or family member, may bring clarity and help you work towards making the changes that are most important to you.
